·  Ultra Edit – Errors – After opening any file I get "File error" and files with extension tx0 are created

- Diagnostic:

  - This error can happen if temporary files are used.

    Ultraedit tries to save temporary file to directory defined by Environment Variable TEMP.

    If this directory does not exists this error appears and temporary file is created in the same directory as opened file.

  - Check if Ultra Edit uses Temporary files:   

    Advanced – Configuration – General – Open File Withouth Temp File: OFF

  - Check the value of Environment Variable TEMP:

    Start – Settings – Control Panel – System – Advanced – Environment Variables – TEMP

  - Check if directory defined by Environment Variable TEMP exists:

    RC on Start – Explorer – ...

- Solution:

  - One solution is to create directory to which Environment Variable TEMP is currently pointing.

  - Another solution is to change the value of   Environment Variable TEMP to point to already existig directory.
