PERL Syntax Variables

- Info:

- PERL has only one type of variable, called scalar.

- There is no way in PERL to define what type of data scalar holds: boolean, character, string, number etc.

- PERL automaticly detects data type and stores the value into memory in adequate format.

- Each scalar name must start with '$' which is interpreted as English word 'the' indicating that a single value is expected.
