- Info: 

  - Hyperlink is part of text on which you can click to jump to a bookmark in the same or another document.

  - Hyperlink can be created on the link which can point to another bookmark or to the one hperlink is jumping to.

 

- Procedure 1 – Using Menus:

  - Type text: BookmarkedDestination  – Select Text – Insert – Bookmark – BokmarkDest – OK

  - Type text: MyHyperlink       – Select Text – Insert – Hyperlink – Bookmark – BokmarkDest – OK

 

- Procedure 2 – Creating Field LINK with Visual Basic Macro:

    ActiveDocument.Hyperlinks.Add _

        Anchor:=Selection.Range, Address:=FileName, _

        SubAddress:=GetNumberedBookmarkPrefix & ManualNumber & "_" & AutomaticNumber - 1, _

        ScreenTip:="", TextToDisplay:=selected

 

- Examples:

  BookmarkedDestination        MyHyperlink     

  BookmarkedDestination        Error! Hyperlink reference not valid.

- Field Codes:

  Filename    after HYPERLINK enter full path of the file you want to jump to or the one that contains bookmark

          if no file is defined current file is used

  \l        after this code enter bookmark name

          this is not necessary if you are jumping to a file rather then to a specific bookmark in file.
